Yoga Fusion Vinyasa Hatha Flow
Tuesdays & Thursdays
Vinyasa (translates to “flowing with breath”) is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which joins physical postures, or asanas, with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. Flow yoga classes tend to be more vigorous and aerobic, and classes can have a variety of music and themes.
The instructor will offer a variety of modifications for beginners and suggest challenging variations for more advanced students. This is to encourage participation of everyone. Classes are designed to cultivate heat in the body with creative sequences involving sun salutations, inverted, standing, seated postures, back bending, arm balancing, and a strong focus on the power of breath awareness.

Mindful Meditation Through Knitting

Mindful Meditation through the ancient art of knitting. A 2 week series with Deanna Padilla
Research shows that knitting produces Therapeutic Beneﬁts associated with other Mindful Meditation practices, including relief of stress and anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and more. The repetitive movement and focus employed in knitting promotes development of the neural pathways in the brain, calming the mind and body, and improving cognitive health. In these fun, interactive workshops, you’ll learn the ancient art of knitting, while creating a handmade scarf. The workshops will be stretched out over 2 weeks, in 2 hour sessions. In the process, you’ll learn how to cast on and cast off stitches, and knit a simple stockinette pattern. If you already know the fundamentals of knitting and want to do a little more complicated scarf pattern, that option will be offered as well.
To participate, you’ll need a pair of size 10 straight, single pointed knitting needles (available at Joanne’s or Michaels), and 1 to 2 balls of Yarn or Worsted weight (4) yarn.
( I don’t recommend dark colors if you’re a beginner).

HOT HULA fitness® is a fun, new and exciting dance workout.
It provides a "total body workout" in 60 minutes. HOT HULA fitness® isolates your larger muscle groups,
increasing strength and definition to your core with specific emphasis on the abs, glutes, quads and arms.
